On one fine evening of Friendship Day, 5 ladies of BinB were sitting together and sharing about their life and suddenly it came into everyone’s mind. Let’s create an exclusive section of women where we can have a bonding, share recipes, nurture the hobbies, and upskill each other. And within no time we all 5 agreed and since we women are the creators, a new wing in BinB was born and named BinB Tillotama Ladies Wing and today we are now 200+ ladies in the group.
BinB Tillotama is another category of BinB that is dedicated to all the ladies irrespective of all age groups where we drive women empowerment, have fun with food, learn while having fun, and help each other to maintain work-life balance. The main aim is to provide a platform for all the BinB women to come together, celebrate their achievements, and support each other in various aspects of life.
Women empowerment is a fundamental principle of the BinB Tillotama Ladies Wing. We all strive to empower women by promoting their rights, equality, and opportunities in society. It focuses on providing resources, guidance, and networking opportunities to help women excel in their personal and professional lives.
Although food and fun play an essential role in the activities of the BinB Tillotama Ladies Wing, it always recognizes the importance of creating a joyful and inclusive environment for BinB Ladies. We plan and organize events such as pottery classes, cooking classes, movie nights, potluck gatherings, and food festivals to celebrate the diverse culinary traditions of India. We even have organized exclusive cooking classes by our senior citizens’ aunts where they have taught us some traditional Bengali dishes which have died out in our generation. These events provide an opportunity for women to bond, share recipes, learn new skills, and explore the richness of Indian culture.
BinB Tillotama Ladies Wing organizes workshops, and seminars to empower women to embrace their individuality, build self-confidence, and create a positive impact in society and cultural events like ramp walk and show your talent rounds during our Durga Puja and the winner is honored with a crown and as Ms. BinB Tillotama for the year.
